What was your starting point and how did you generate ideas?

My starting point was natural disasters, and I thought mainly about shelters after natural disasters. Then I did some research and I realised that none of these shelters had taken into account the areas used by children. Most of the shelters are for people who live together, and inevitably there is a lot of negativity and noise, which I think is very unfriendly to children's mental health, and it makes it worse for children who are already experiencing a disaster.
That's why I want to create a mobile and quiet space for children to heal mentally. Maybe I will also add some facilities for them to have fun and divert attention.

Which experiments were important to inform your final results? Why?

I made some laser-cut pieces of plastic which allow light to pass through to create beautiful shadows and I chose some peaceful colours based on colour psychology. This experiment allowed me to focus on the light and shadow effect, but I didn't like the choice of materials, they were too heavy and unsuitable for a quick assembly.

What connection can you show between what you choose to work on and your potential outcome?
The things I'm making right now are very piecemeal, they belong to some small part of my space to experiment with materials. These little models are small parts of my FINAL experiments. Some of them maybe I'll even use in my finished product, I'm mostly focused on the effect and the material.

Can you identify turning points in your process and projects? What worked, what was surprising?

I think I was very successful in the design of the ceiling, although I haven't made a model yet, I know he will be very beautiful and achieve the effect I want.
